This beauty is likely from the North Platte River in the Gurnsey area. This stone can be traced back to a family in Douglas that had permission to hunt the private ranches along the river. In Wyoming the landowner owns the land along the shore and the river bottom including all the rocks/jade. I acquired it from a Jade dealer in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
