Photos were taken in a professional light box for maximum color accuracy. NO water or oil has been used in any of these photos. Jade is shown either polished or in a dry state. Polished faces were done on a 6″ Genie wheels which was challenging to say the least but at least shows off the potential in this apple green. Final polish was with ZAM.
Every piece is SOLID, no cracks and some have chatoyant threads suspended in the jade. Closeup photos show the darker areas are dark watermarking and not actual black spots. Most pieces also have small silver and gold flake inclusions that create an additional chatoyance.
As photos show, the brown and white plume inclusions are both translucent and will polish. Some of the plumes are quite spectacular and will create beautiful jewelry.
