Rare Edwards Black Nephrite Jade with Frogskin green patterns
This amazing piece of Wyoming nephrite jade displays one-of-a-kind changing green flow patterns with a quartz crystal tossed in every often. This black nephrite takes a mirror-like polish and is most likely from the Edwards Mine as it displays all the correct characteristics. This piece came from a long time Wyoming jade collector who had started slabbing it, ending it’s specimen value. I cut it further to see what was inside for quality purpose and was stunned when I removed the first fat chunk from the tile saw. Priced at $375/lb
